The following list informs you about the most important improvements in Nuendo and provides links to the corresponding descriptions. This is the Operation Manual for Steinberg’s Nuendo.Here you will find detailed information. An application capable of hosting 64-bit VST plug-ins; The VST3 version of the plug-in should be automatically installed in the default VST3 plug-in location and should be found by your host application. However, the Windows version also comes with a portable mode: Portable Mode allows you to store assets in the same directory as your surge.vst3. That's what this plugin can help you achieve. It features three knobs for pushing low and high-frequency content to the centre or sides. And with it, you can change lead vocal levels when mastering, add high-end sparkle to side content with altering centre information, and tame overheads in your audio without much ado. Eventide plug-ins give you the ability to make your recordings evoke the sonic landscape of legendary albums and open the doors to the creation of new sounds never heard before. Our legacy plugins like the H910 Harmonizer and H3000 Factory recreate the iconic sounds used by top artists, engineers and producers such as Steve Vai, Tony Visconti.
EnvelopedSine is an additive synthesizer that computes 64 sine waves for each note. Difference to IterativeSinCluster is that this synth has AD envelope and saturator for each oscillator. EnvelopedSine is better suited for percussive sounds.
EnvelopedSine requires CPU which supports AVX or later SIMD instructions.
The package includes following builds:
- Windows 64bit
- Linux 64bit
- macOS 64bit

Linux build is built on Ubuntu 18.0.4 and tested on Bitwig and Reaper. If you are using distribution other than Ubuntu 18.04, plugin will not likely run. In this case, please take a look at build instruction.
Installation
Plugin
Place *.vst3
directory to:
/Program Files/Common Files/VST3/
for Windows.$HOME/.vst3/
for Linux./Users/$USERNAME/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3/
for macOS.
DAW may provides additional VST3 directory. /midi-strings-vst-free.html. For more information, please refer to the manual of the DAW.
Presets
Extract preset zip, then place preset directory to the OS specific path:
- Windows :
/Users/$USERNAME/Documents/VST3 Presets/Uhhyou
- Linux :
$HOME/.vst3/presets/Uhhyou
- macOS :
/Users/$USERNAME/Library/Audio/Presets/Uhhyou
Preset directory name must be the same as the plugin. Make Uhhyou
directory if it does not exist.
Windows Specific
If DAW doesn’t recognize the plugin, try installing C++ redistributable (vc_redist.x64.exe
). Installer can be found in the link below.
Linux Specific
On Ubuntu 18.0.4, those packages are required.
If DAW doesn’t recognize the plugin, take a look at Package Requirements
section of the link below and make sure all the VST3 related package is installed.
REAPER on Linux may not recognize the plugin. A workaround is to delete a file ~/.config/REAPER/reaper-vstplugins64.ini
and restart REAPER.
macOS Specific
When trying to run plugin first time, following message may appear on macOS.
In this case, open terminal and try running following command to unzipped .vst3
directory.
Plugin may be considered as unsigned/un-notarized application. In this case, try following the steps below.
- Open terminal and run
sudo spctl --master-disable
. - Go to System Preferences → Security and Privacy → General → Allow apps downloaded from, then select “Anywhere”.
Beware that steps above degrades security of your system. To revert the settings, follow the steps below.
- Go to System Preferences → Security and Privacy → General → Allow apps downloaded from, then select option to “App Store and identified developers”.
- Open terminal and run
sudo spctl --master-enable
.

At first time, create color config file to:

Knob and slider can do:

Snapping is not available for all BarBox. If you’d like to have snapping for certain BarBox, feel free to open issue to GitHub repository.
Edit One Bar with Shift + Right Drag holds a bar under the cursor when mouse right button is pressed. Then only changes that one bar while holding down mouse right button.
Toggle Lock with Ctrl + Shift + Right Drag behaves as line edit. When right mouse button (RMB) is pressed, it holds the opposite state of the bar below mouse cursor, then use the state for the rest of bars. For example, if RMB is pressed on a locked bar, dragging unlocks bars while holding down RMB.

Pitch
When checked, the synth enables rendering of sine waves over nyquist frequency.
Roughly speaking, nyquist frequency is the highest frequency that can be reconstructed from recorded digital signal. When generating sound, it’s possible to set value that is higher than nyquist frequency. However, the result may contain unexpected frequency due to a phenomenon called aliasing. Add Aliasing
is option to add those aliasing noise.

LFO phase. This can be used to make sound with automation. Turning Freq

VST plug-in developers try to recreate the sound as closely as possible, but the original instrument is probably always going to sound better than the plug-in. You might be trying to get the rich, full-bodied sound of an organ, for example, but who owns an organ? No one has access to every type of instrument, so a plug-in will have to do. The good news is that VST plug-in technology is improving, so quality can only get better with time.
VST Plug-in Standard
Created by Steinberg, a German musical software and equipment company, the VST plug-in standard is the audio plug-in standard that allows third-party developers to make VST plug-ins. Users can download VST plug-ins on Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. The vast majority of VST plug-ins are available on Windows. Apple’s Audio Units are standard on Mac OS X (it’s actually considered a competing technology), and Linux lacks commercial popularity, therefore few developers create VST plug-ins for the operating system.
