- I've used a Kyma, it's morphing is pretty amazing. It is not at all 'plug and play' but the results are excellent. I don't recall playing with the distortion modeling, but the Vocoder function is the best I've ever heard. Just picked up Morph 2.0. Have not had a chance to use it yet. Will report back when I do.

The natural ambience is hauntingly beautiful, and you get great control over the layering and combinations of the complete choir sound.

SpectMorph
SpectMorph is a free software project which allows to analyze samples ofmusical instruments, and to combine them (morphing). It can be used toconstruct hybrid sounds, for instance a sound between a trumpet and a flute; orsmooth transitions, for instance a sound that starts as a trumpet and thengradually changes to a flute.
