NadIR is a zero latency, dual Impulse Response (IR) convolver, designed to be used as a cabinet simulator for guitar and bass (pre)amplifiers (VST/AU or even hardware). It has been designed to perform pristine quality convolution in real time, while being light on the CPU and easy to use, providing advanced built-in filters and delay controls to let guitarists and bassists shape their tone.
The Torpedo BlendIR is your Impulse Response (IR) laboratory: mix IRs together, tweak them, distort them the way you like, and export the result into a Torpedo-compliant file you can upload into any Two notes product (hardware or plug-in).
You will be able to produce the most elaborate IR mixes offline, then upload them into your Torpedo!
The Torpedo products embed the finest cabinets and microphone you can ever find in the market. It is also possible to load any kind of third-party impulse responses (.wav and .aiff format) into any Torpedo item in the series, which will dramatically increase the versatility of the product.
The Torpedo BlendIR software is a simple but powerful tool designed for you to create professional Impulse Responses (IR) that are compliant with the Torpedo.
With the BlendIR you can:
- Create an Impulse Response project, save it at some point and work on it later.
- Upload up to 8 impulse responses as .wav, .aiff or .tur (Two notes proprietary format) files and get access to the following parameters: length (in samples), offset (move your IR on a time axis), Phase (slight phase adjustment), Volume with Mute and Solo button on all IR.
- Click on the red button to launch the embedded Capture software and get a capture that will be automatically loaded onto the selected IR slot.
- Use a 31-band EQ to fine-tune your resulting IR.
- Create a playlist to upload your guitar/bass or any other sound track that will be processed with the IR.
- Enjoy many Visualisation options (time, frequency, phase) for the IRs and spectrum analyser on the track before and after processing.
Torpedo BlendIR is not supported under macOS 10.15 Catalina. We apologize for the inconvenience.
BlendIR is a standalone software program (OS X & Windows compatible).

BlendIR allows you to use two playlists, so as to:
- Choose a raw sound file for IR processing (“Source”);
- compare that “Source” file to a “Target” sound file which you want to emulate;
- treat the tone of a raw sound file with the IRs you add to the mix, and compare what you get with what you are aiming at.
Drag & drop your raw sound files (.wav, .aiff, or .mp3) into the “Source” column.
Drag & drop any sound files (.wav, .aiff, or .mp3), the tone of which you would like to reproduce, into the “Target” column.
The top progress bar corresponds to the sound of your source file being played.
The bottom progress bar corresponds to your target sound.
NB: When you select the target sound, IR processing automatically switches to bypass (since IR treatment is to apply to the source for it to be processed and sound like the target).

Drag & drop any chosen IR (.wav, .aiff, or .tur) onto one of the IR slots, or use the CAPTURE button to create your own IR (See “Capture tutorial”).

The added IR now affects the sound of your source file, as shows on the top, right-hand side bargraph.

The Torpedo Technology is more than just a convolution process. Thus, Two notes wanted to bring you a powerful tool to capture the sound signature of your cab and microphone in your studio, and which will take advantage of the Torpedo technology.
The Torpedo Capture software is embedded into the BlendIR to that purpose.
Set up your gear as if you were ready to record with your cabinet and microphone, replace the guitar amplifier by a studio/PA amplifier, the Capture software will send a test signal through the system and generate a Torpedo-compliant .tur file. Just load it into the Torpedo via theRemote software, that’s it!
Now you can bring the sound of your own gear onto every stage or studio. Free vst amp rack.
Here is the gear you need to achieve your IR capture :
- A MAC or PC computer with an ASIO/Coreaudio soundcard embedding at least one line output and one line input. In an ideal case, the soundcard can go 24bits/96KHz with the best signal/noise ratio and THD.
- A power amplifier that can work at 250W / 8 Ohms with the lowest possible distortion, linear frequency response and the lowest possible output impedance. A solid state studio monitoring amplifier fits perfectly for this task. A Tube guitar amplifier could be a fun thing to try, but as they are everything but linear the result may be… fun.
- A cabinet you want to capture
- A microphone you want to capture
- A microphone preamplifier you want to capture
- A room were you can play loud!
